IN PERSON Bringing Baby Home

TUESDAYS, 6-8PM

Becoming a parent creates many changes. It changes the household, the relationship dynamic, and who we are and what is important to us.

The Bringing Baby Home (BBH) group is a research based psychoeducational workshop that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for babies and children by strengthening their families. The material is based on over 20 years of relationship research conducted by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. This is a workshop series best designed for couples who are expecting a baby as well as parents with children three years and younger.

Not only will this program teach you and your partner what to expect during the transition to parenthood, it will also help you do things like:

  • Better understand child development

  • Create co-parenting strategies with your partner

  • Improve the way you and your partner communicate, connect, and compromise

  • Recognize signs of postpartum mood disorders and gain awareness of treatment options

Completing this series has been shown to:

  • Increase intimacy and affection within your relationship

  • Work through conflict at greater ease and reduce hostility

  • Create positive parent-child interactions

$480 per couple
